Introduction

This UX practice project focuses on conducting UX research for Taiwan’s National Health Insurance (NHI) app. The process involved focus group interviews, wireframe design, and ultimately, the creation of mock-up designs, followed by a comprehensive report.

Project details

I was responsible for interviewing older users (aged 60 and above) to understand their usage habits:

  • They often found it difficult to understand SMS and verification code-related messages.
  • Their most common use cases included retrieving previous medical records and checking whether nearby hospitals or clinics required waiting.

After the interviews, I worked on wireframe design and produced an interactive mock-up, primarily focusing on creating functional links for better user interaction.

Result

The final proposal included a solution for reorganizing and layering information. Please refer to the following illustrations for further details.
